As an internal communications specialist, you will support PGGM Investment Management in developing and delivering internal communications initiatives. You will work closely with the strategic lead internal communications, HR, external communications, digital channels, and a broad range of stakeholders across the organisation. Your role combines content creation, editorial process management, and independent communications project delivery. You will help make complex topics related to investments, strategy, sustainability, and transformation understandable and engaging for employees. Through your proactive and structured approach, you will bring consistency, quality, and momentum to the internal communications function.

Where will you work?

You will join the Business Strategy team and support internal communications for PGGM Investment Management. You will work closely with the strategic lead internal communications, digital channels advisor, HR, external communications, and stakeholders across the Investment Management business. The assignment will be conducted entirely in English. The role is based in Zeist with a hybrid working model: two days per week in the office and the remaining days working remotely.

What will you do?

• You write and edit content for the intranet, newsletters, Viva Engage, digital signage, and internal campaigns.
• You develop leadership communications, speeches, interviews, and management updates.
• You translate complex investment management topics into engaging and easy-to-understand stories.
• You create and maintain an editorial calendar.
• You improve content planning, governance, and quality assurance processes.
• You develop communication templates, guidelines, and formats.
• You coordinate stakeholders, feedback rounds, and approval processes.
• You create visual content using tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, or Adobe Creative Suite.

What do you bring?

• You have a completed bachelor's or master's degree.
• You have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience within the financial sector.
• You have experience in corporate or internal communications within a complex organisation.
• You have demonstrable knowledge of investment management and are comfortable writing about the subject.
• You have excellent English writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• You have experience creating content for senior management and executive leadership.
• You have experience with editorial calendars, content processes, and workflows.
• You are a strong collaborator and you are skilled to build relationships on strategic level.
• You have experience with Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
• You have experience with SharePoint and Viva Engage or can quickly learn these platforms.

What do we offer?

• Assignment duration: 20 October 2026 to 29 January 2027.
• Working hours: 32 hours per week.
• Location & hybrid working: Zeist, two days per week in the office and the remaining days remote.
• Rate: €80
• Start date: 20 October 2026.
• Contract type: Interim assignment, freelancers (ZZP) welcome.
