As a Brand Strategist, you are responsible for managing the BinckBank brand. This includes the development and refinement of the company brand strategy and planning, managing brand governance, brand education and brand consultation for stakeholder across the company, as well as for outside agencies. This is a key strategic role which requires close collaboration with local marketing managers and the ability to influence high-level decision making. In this position you will report directly to the CEO of BinckBank.
Create an international distinguished BinckBank brand and brand awareness.
You will lead and drive the strategic development and execution of marketing communications and provide leadership for all deliverables for brand communications.
You are responsible to develop and work with local marketing and communications managers to align, enhance and promote the brand within their marketing plans and activities.
You will identify overlapping opportunities and best practices across the countries.
International brand governance: you will reponsible for making brand centric decisions based on a deep brand understanding. guidelines and brand assets, approved framework messages and desired marketplace perception.
BinckBank is founded in 2000 and is the largest independent Dutch online bank for investors and savers. BinckBank expanded over Europe and has local branches in 5 different countries (the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain and Italy). The new strategy is focused on broadening the services and entering markets with innovative saving and investments propositions. Who are you?
Master degree (marketing, communications or related commercial study).
Minimum of 10 years relevant experience and proven track record in Brand strategy and experience working in an international environment.
Advanced knowledge of brand building fundamentals.
Excellent project management skills and ability to predict potential issues and proactively address them.
Working understanding of consumer research fundamental including qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Competencies required:
Team player with the ability to collaborate, advise and influence in an international environment with local differences.
Effective and influential interpersonal communication and connsultative skillls, both verbal and written.
Fluency in written and spoken Dutch and English.
