As a marketing manager you will join the international and fast-growing team of GoodShipping. You strive to make impact together with your colleagues of sales en businessdevelopment. 
This young and innovative company is a game changer which has it's effect on your role; marketing is still a relatively uncharted territory which leaves few well-trodden paths and plenty of room for your initiative. The working language in the office is English.

where will you work?

The international transport sector has long been a blind spot when it comes to sustainability. However, this is changing rapidly.  For over six years , GoodNRG has been working hard to make the sector more sustainable by accelerating the transition to fossil-free transport.

GoodNGR believes that for a better world without climate change, energy consumption must ultimately become fossil-free. 

GoodShipping accelerates the transition to fossil-free transport by empowering cargo owners to switch fuel and change industry together. GoodShipping is the first sustainable cargo initiative in the world that offers companies – of all sizes and segments worldwide – the opportunity to make container shipments less polluting. They achieve this through an immediate decarbonisation service and carbon insetting approach. GoodFuels develops and supplies truly sustainable alternatives to fossil fuels for international shipping and heavy road transport. Together with GoodShipping, GoodFuels is part of GoodNRG.
GoodNRG's team is an international and close-knit team of people who all work hard to accomplish company''s mission: Propelling a better world by zeroing the future.

As a marketing manager you strengthen the mission driven team. You report to the CCO for the GoodNRG Group. 

what will you do?

  • Deliver a creative marketing strategy to boost brand- and proposition awareness
  • Analysing and improving the customer journey
  • Thinking along with clients and if relevant set up an appropriate (joint) marketing plan
  • Organising (customer) events
  • Ensure that the GoodShipping story is consistent in all channels.

What to bring?

  • a hbo or wo education in a relevant field
  • at least five years of relevant work experience in marketing
  • experience with developing a strategy and marketing plan
  • experience with using all necessary channels for off and online for b-2-b or b-2-b-2-c marketing
  • you are driven by making impact together
  • you are flexible and like to work in a fast-changing environment
  • You have a proactive and entrepreneurial attitude
  • You like to act as a spider in a web, a real team playerLikes to work for an impact driven company, and in this way wants to contribute to making the transport sector more sustainable

What do we offer?

  • A workplace at a new fantastic office in the ‘Awarehouse’, located at the creative business hub of Amsterdam: the Houthavens
  • A maximum salary indication of €6.000,- gross per month based on a 40-hour work week, depending on your experience. 
  • A full-time position for 40 hours per week, working part-time is possible in consultation (the minimum is 32 hours)
  • 25 vacation days (in case of a fulltime appointment)
