Business Development Manager

Als international new business developer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen en begeleiden van toonaangevende, complexe industriële automatisering projecten in de Olie en Gas markt in Europa en Afrika. Je adviseert key accounts over high-end SCADA oplossingen.

• You are responsible for the profitable order intake in the region Europe & Africa,
• Active sales of complex (SCADA) projects,
• Develop opportunities and close orders independently
• Create relationships with new accounts and expand business with existing accounts,
• Define sales and business plans and execute those within local offices in the region,
• Create fit for purpose value propositions for mainly the Oil & Gas and Power market.

As Business Development Manager you'll advise the major and global companies in oil and gas upstream & midstream, refining & petrochemical, power & energy industries. With a global knowledge centre as back-office you'll develop this market towards it's potential!

• Higher vocational or academic degree with a technological component,
• Minimum of 10 years experience with Industrial Automation,
• Extensive experience in the sales of projects and good understanding of the applications in the target markets,
• Experience within the Oil & Gas market is desired, second preferable is knowledge of the process industries,
• Able to interact successfully with discipline managers, plant managers and procurement,
• Fluent in switching between roles of account manager, sales engineer and consultant,
• Pro-active hunter type sales person with an open attitude,
• Good communicator who can act as a partner of economic and technical buyers,
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing skills),
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of your time.

• The position of Business Development Manager (internationaal) is a fulltime job,
• Bruto yearsalary between € 60.000,- and € 75.000,- based on 40 hours a week,
